This residential area of Alexandria is located west of Old Town and is bounded by Duke Street (to the south), Janneys Lane and King Street (to the east) and Quaker Lane (to the west). It offers wonderful tree covered streets and a nice greenspace along Taylor Run. There are an array of housing choices including condominiums, townhomes, detached 1940s/50s era homes and four square and bungalows from the early 1900s, most within walking distance of the King St. metro. The eastern boundary is the George Washington Masonic Memorial which offers fantastic views of Alexandria from its observation deck.
