Cameron Station is a vibrant community of over 2000 homes (condos, townhomes and single family) that was developed in the 1990s on the site of a former military base on the western side of Alexandria. The home owners association offers a convenient shuttle bus to the Van Dorn metro and maintains the Cameron Club (a community club house, pool and fitness center). Ben Brenman park adjacent to the community offers a pond, walking paths, ball fields and dog park.
