Seminary Ridge is a lovely residential area generally located north of Duke St, west of Quaker Lane, south of Seminary Road and east of St. Stephens Road. The area derived its name from the Virginia Theological Seminary which is nearby. The area is comprised of several residential neighborhoods offering primarily single family homes built in the 1950s-1980s with pockets of newer construction. The lot sizes tend to be at least 1/4 acre and the neighborhood boasts rolling hills and mature trees. Center hall colonials, split levels and split foyers are the predominate housing styles.
